Lou Tornatzky is a Professor of Industrial Technology at Cal Poly and Co-Director of its Center for Innovation & Entrpreneurship. For over 30 years he has focused on regional innovation and community development, including stints with the Southern Growth Policies Board, Ann Arbor’s Industrial Technology Institute, the National Science Foundation and the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute. He has a PhD from Stanford and a wicked sense of humor – ask his wife – plus 5 children and a team of grandkids.

Jan Harper - Board Member, Secretary
I have been enjoying Los Osos since the early 1970's. I enjoy my life in Los Osos; It is a wonderful community; lots of great energy, ideas and enthusiasm - hope to keep positive energy alive, active and growing. I feel we are each responsible for making Los Osos continually moving in healthy ways to have fun together building our community together.
Paul Malykont - Board Member
Paul Malykont is a retired CPA/attorney. He's been married to Ellie for 45 years and has two sons. A resident of Los Osos for 19 years, he is an elected member of the Los Osos Community Advisory Council and a member of Cal Poly Executive Partners where he mentors undergraduate business students. This year he will begin hosting a quarterly Movie Night at our local library.
Vicki Millege - Board Member
Vicki Milledge, PhD, Principal Consultant of Project:Synchro, has over 30 years experience in human resources management in the high tech and finance sectors, higher education, and consulting and executive training. She has trained and coached over 500 managers from both non-profit and for-profit organizations. In over seven years at Apple Computer, among other accomplishments, she developed an “in-house” executive search team and worked directly for Steve Jobs as the human resources manager for the Macintosh Group.
She is credited with personally finding and hiring over half of the original Macintosh development team. At the University of Massachusetts Boston, College of Management, from 1993 to 2001, she taught Organizational Behavior and Environmental Management in the MBA program and Managerial Ethics to undergraduates. From 2001 to 2004, also at UMB, she was Program Manager for the Emerging Leaders Program of the Center for Collaborative Leadership, where she designed and delivered training in collaborative skills and coached project teams of diverse leaders from corporations and non-profits across the greater Boston area.
As a Project Coach, Vicki’s attention to detail and ability to organize complex projects into doable steps help any group move smoothly through complicated issues or projects. Her coaching clients describe her style as always having a hand on your back, sometimes supporting and sometimes pushing you forward.
